Have a front mount cultivator but don't see how it should lift. Is there something missing? There is a handle that attachs to the tractor and through a rod to each gang which I think sets the depth but don't see what will raise the cultivator. It's on a wd45.

I have a complete unit for a WD 45 if you need parts for yours or know someone who would be interested.

One of the rams turn around and point to the front of the tractor. If I remember right it is the one on the left. Don"t remember any details but that is the basic.

Sid is right- the left cylinder is turned forward to raise the front gangs of the cultivator, the right cylinder is turned toward the rear to raise the rear gang. (The hydraulic system can be adjusted to provide delay to raise the rear gang.) The two levers on either side of the tractor, forward of the battery box, are used to set cultivating depth. There is a 'rockshaft' that goes in front of the battery box that is connected to the lift cylinder and the front cultivator gangs. If Sid and I are wrong- it is in regard to which cylinder goes forward!- The hookup on the rockshaft will determine which cylinder gets swung forward.

If you had a picture of one you could probably make one. It's a solid shaft, about 1 1/2 inches in diameter, maybe 20 some inches long. Has some other steel welded to it.

Does anyone have a picture of the "rockshaft"?
