Kelly, I'm in SE MN, and rarely see used NH inverters at the local dealers. We've got a NH 166, sure works great. Just keep looking, still got a few months before you guys can even think about using it!

Kelly,

I use my NH 55 Rolabar. If you run right beside the windrow it will kick it over on dry ground down side up. Works like a dream for me

Check "ironsearch.com" look under "hay & forage". They have 21 listed and 12 NH's. They range from 2000 up. If you don't like what you see check NH home page under Ag eqt (used). They usually have 30-40 of them listed at various NH dealers. Good luck...

Check with dealers in dairy areas- Stearns, Morrison, Todd, Pope, Meeker counties. St. Cloud, Paynesvill, Sauk Centre, Little Falls, Alex, Glenwood, Litchfield. Stearns is your best bet.

Check with Dick at Lake Henry Impl, 320-243-7411, or Ron at A&C, 243-3736. Western Stearns is still heavy in dairy.

Arnolds had a New Holland inverter on their used lot back in Late December. Don't know the price, or if it is still there, but didn't look in to bad of condition.

They were all the rage 15 years ago.

Still bring good money, but rarely see any used down here in s MN any more.

We bought one of the first NH144 Inverters in this area and it sure sold a lot of 144's for the dealer. It cuts a least a day's drying time by not only inverting gently, but also placing the hay on dry ground. Wouldn't hay without one and a moisture tester.

U just sold a good one in reply to Kelly C, 03-07-2005 12:55:03
I have seen guys take all of the upper stuff off an old IH round baler like you had - then make a tin or plywood slide instead - you pick up the windrows with the pickup - the windrow goes on the large bottom belt and hits the plywood and starts sliding left or right - then falls off the back of the large belt - beside where the old windrow was....

HAHAHa That would figure. I can see that working too. Oh well there are many more of those balers at the auctions.
