White 252 Disk

I would like your opinion(s) on a White 252 14ft disk. A friend on mine has offered it to me. It is usable but needs new blades on the front gangs. Tires are good, no hydraulic cylinder, some new bearings. Is it a good disk? Whats it worth? etc? Thanks Gene

Gene,
Just my observations from auctions, mid michigan area.
Anything over 8 foot is cheap, factor in no cylinder, loose bearings, bad blades etc. I have seen those go for $100-200 all the time.
Nicer ones still needing some work $300-700, especially in the spring.

Around here, White discs are (were) really popular (lots of no-till here now). White also made discs for Ford as well (probably others as well). Parts are no problem , but expensive, like most things agricultural these days. We have a 16' 252 ourselves.
