Slip Scoop Boom Pole questions

I post on the 8N board every now and again, but I've got my N running now and have some implement questions.

I've got a 1949 8N (with Funk flathead 6) that I plan to do a little work with on my 10 acres.

I've heard that slip scoops work well for moving small quantities of dirt about. Do these work OK with heavy clay soil? How much can they load? How easy are they to use? I don't want to install a FEL so that is out of the question for me.

I'm also interested in getting a boom pole. How high can one of these reach? (Cat 1, 3 point on my N) Are they usefull for installing poles, for making a pole barn? How much weight can they handle.

Does anybody have any recomendations for a good source for these items. Thanks all.

we use our slip scoop alot around the house and the barn at work. I use it alot of times with my backhoe and excavator on the same jobs to do touch up work or utility backfilling. They are very good in heavy clay only ones we had some that it would scoop but it was packed by 50 years of cattle traffic. Our scoop runs either forward or backwards for scooping out of a pile.
