I think I might have the same disease that you do.

I found a Hydraswing windrower near me for $1500, haven't looked at it yet, and know of some of the more expensive things on it to fix, but
i don't need it, I only mow like 10 acres a year (maybe a few more someday)

BUT MAN OH MAN IF I HAD A HYDROSWING _ life wouldn't get any better than that

obviously it would be well used - but I am not going in the high speed big capacity haying business- and a little tender care and love could well maybe ..... ..

Unless you are planning a couple hundred acres I wouldn't mess with a swather.
A good sickle bar mower is still the best economy for 10 acres and it don't take much room to store.
I paid $900 for a used hydro-swing 4 or 5 years ago and drag it over 500 - 1000 acres a year.

Chris,

A Hydroswing for $1500? Hmmmm, don't think it is a disease in your case. Just plain common sense. :>)

You'd better run get that thing!
