New Idea Manure Spreader parts

I have a New Idea ground driven manure spreader. From what I can read from the id plate it looks like it"s a Model 14A. Does anyone know if replacement parts are still made for this spreader?? I would like to get a new apron chain.

Any info would be greatly appreciated.

My father operates an Agco-New Idea dealer, and carries many older spreader chains, and can order one to meet your specs. It is called Coryn Farm Supplies, and is located in Canandaigua, NY. The phone number is 585-394-4691. Ask for Charles. He will not be in until next week, however, so please wait until Monday to call. Hope he can help!

Replacement parts are available. B.W. Macknair & Son in Pennsylvania (among others) have them (www.macknair.com).

New Idea is part of Agco, the Allis Chalmers/ Oliver/ White/ etc. setup. You should be able to find a local dealer from the Agco web site.
