Anyone ever see of these? Read about it in an old 1956 farm magazine. Looked like a standard corn harvestor chopper mounted on a self-propelled motorized frame. This isn't the model where the chopper is mounted in front of a tractor. I've seen those. This 1956 Gehl Chop-All was all one unit. Anyone ever use on these?

Hi!
I have a friend that farms 3 miles from me that has one of these machines, and used it last year to cut corn daily for his beef cattle. That way, he said, a tractor wasn't always tied up hooked on his pull type harvester. He changed the engine to a GM from a Continental. It has a 2 row wide corn head, which is not working too good for him in 30 inch corn, leaves lots of long stubbles. He might hire me with my Fox Super D and 3 row narrow corn head to open the fields first. He has owned it for about 15 years. He keeps it inside and it still looks pretty good. To lower the corn head, the machine raises the front axle. The drive tires are on the back, like a Hesston Field Queen. I purchased a brochure off of ebay, which covers this machine.
