There is a 1998 504L vermeer baler coming up at a sale. What do you guys think about this model? It has baled about 1500 bales. What is it worth? Scotty

That is a very good model and the bales sound low. It will bale silage also. The price depends on the condition of the belts, overall appearance and the options. A new plain jane baler similar to that one is going to be in the 16K ball park. My guess at price would be in the 10K ballpark if in good condition. For autotie, netwrap and kicker go up some. Also The 554XL makes a larger bale by 17%. James is about correct for the value for the East TN market as well.
