Have any of you heard of a company called Servis? I have one of their brush cutters. It is a Saturn VI model. a seventy-two inch cut. I imagine it"s pretty run of the mill as far as cutters go. A big disk on the bottom with two hinged blades, are there any opinions out there, good or bad. I"m just wondering what I"ve got. Thanks for your time.

What you have is what they call a Sat6 rotary mower, I have a Servis Saturn Sat5 which is a 5 ft mower. Mine seems real tough but word of warning the the mechanics of the mower will long outlast the deck. Mine is rusted out in several spots but still cuts like a champ and I don't baby it just keep the gear box full of grease and give it hell.

I haven't owned one, but have seen several around here. At least the older ones had a pretty good reputation as a heavy-duty machine.

I got my tractor and another guy got the brush hog that was attached. They were abandoned together. Free is good. The other guy needed his Ford 2000 engine rebuilt more than he needed another hog. I did a poor man"s rebuild and he gave me the hog. I enjoyed going through the engine, the hog was my payment. Eventually the hog will end up back on the tractor it came from. The tractor is a 1956 J.I. Case 401.

The hog and tractor are complete. I removed the crazy wheel, cleaned out all the rust, and greased up the pivot.

It"s the only one I"ve ever seen, I haven"t seen very many at all, I just wondered if anyone else owned any of these.

Thanks for the link to the website. Chris Vangel.
