Does anybody know what happened to the mfg. company, I know they were bought out by Hesston, I believe. Are they any good ?

Since no one chimed in..... except Hugh..... I think, based only on my CRS memory that they were a line built by Fox; had a reputation of being the "cadillac" of silage cutters (in my area); we always ran A-C because of dealer support. Don't know what happened to the company.

Gil: No experience, however I did deliver a couple of these new for a dealer. Back in 70s his truck was a 1 ton, thus I was called with big rig for heavy hauls. I know those machines did not stay on those farms long. Within 5 years a Deere replaced one and New Holland replaced the other. These were both 200 cow dairy farms, with confined feeding year around.

For that kind of investment, I think one would want to get more than 5 years from the machine. Just my observation.
