Hey there, i've restored a horse drawn walking plow, on the side of it, it reads "Stark & Dixie" patented August 17, 1871. anybody familiar with this company, i would like to figure out how old the plow is, i would guess over 100 years old but not really sure, if you can help me out, i would greatly appreciate it

I have seen in the past on this board of a web site to look up info on any item in archives of the patent office if you have the patent date, I had wrote it down but can"t find it at the moment, maybe someone else has it.

Looked a little harder and found it, it's www.uspto.gov Maybe you need the patent number instead of the date.
