Snow machines snow blower

I found a used 3 point hitch snow blower made by snow machines. I belive they were made in the Dakota's. Does anyone have any infromation on how to contact the factory or get manuals? Are they any good? Been unable to locate any information out on the net.

I have a 7' Snow machine. They are in North Sioux City, SD. I have mine for about 3 years and had to put a new snap ring and seal in the gearbox when I got it. The guy that sold to me thought the gearbox was shot. He had the impeller off and didn�t put the spacer on the shaft and when he put the impeller on it got into the back of the blower and knock the snap ring loose and took the seal out. I have it on a 400 Framall and have good luck with it.

Yea, mine is a Snow Machines Corporation snowblower. All I could read on it in the moonlight just now.

As I recall, it was manufatured in Canada, but I could be wrong? I got it a few years before or after 1990.

In 2 seasons, the gearbox went bad, I took it back to my dealer, & when they contacted the company, they were sent a 4 page questionare to fill out before sending a replacement. My dealer took the old gearbox to a local machine shop to be rebuilt in 24 hours instead, and it has lasted ever since.

I suspect with 'service' like that, SMC are out of business..... .
