Anyone know if any of the 'pick up' parts on a JD 435/535 round baler cross over to another manufacturer. I have a NH 570 square baler and from pictures, I would swear that Case has a baler that is almost identical...except for the paint. I figured that maybe some company makes parts/whole machines for different brands. The background on my question is that I purchased a JD 435 round baler at auction...knowing that it was going to need work, but after removing the pick up and tearing into it...have realized that it was in much worse condition than expected...and most parts will either need to be repaired or replaced...and having bought similar parts for my NH 570...I have come to realize that JD is quite proud of their parts as they cost 2 to 3 times what the parts would cost for a NH.

Any suggestions welcomed...

Thanks

CaseIH does in fact have a model identical to the 570 except for paint. New Holland bought CIH a few years back.

WOW... Usually NH tops even Deere for parts pricing!
