I am looking for the best/easiest way to locate a reasonable belt that could power a regular detached farm implement powered by a farmall M. I can find pulleys forever but not the belts. Any help?

Depending on what part of the country you are in some farm sales have some belts, consignment sales, flea markets at tractor shows are also possibilities. If you are in an area where the Amish live they have sources to get them. Be sure to check the condition of old belts, they can get pretty rotten after 50 or 60 years.Good Luck.

Try your local round baler dealer they probably have some used belts that would work fine for you.
