Anybody around the Indy area know where I might find a used NH 67 series (or 68) baler? I currently have a super 67 that works ok, it just has "needs".

All the guards are missing, has a broken haydog spring (or two) and both my rim/tire combinations are incorrect. The right side tire rubs the pickup, the left side is a trailer tire, since the axle appears to have been broken at some time and who knows what has been used to replace it. I also lost a bale chamber tension spring this past year after the threads on the bolt let go. (Found the handle and washer, spring went to the moon I guess).

I've had my share of tying troubles and timing issues but finally got it working right,(I bought ALL the manuals.. knotter guide etc.) making decent bales and only missing a knot or two (in about 400) with my "antique" (worn out).

Ok, I'll admit it's junk, but maybe you guys can help.

I know that Kelly C has an awesome site about restoring his 68. He pulled the plunger and put new runners in, rebuilt the knotters and worked a good deal on the pickup. He has lots and lots of pictures of his restoration, which could be very helpful to you.
I don't know the address to the site, but I'm sure he'll surface and give you the story on his 68 in the next few days.

I would say that if you want to part with it to buy a parts baler and park it next to yours, strip it of everything you need and drag the remains to the scrap yard.

Have fun, I just got done with an MF 10. Maybe with some luck she'll get me through the season this year!?

I'm quite familiar with Kelley's site, I've been there several times to check out his treasures (equipment). His baler timing instruction were quite helpful in setting up my baler prior to getting my manuals.

I'm hoping I'll find a better baler like mine or atleast a parts baler that I can make 1 good one from. As is now, I'll be able to bale this season with what I have, just not sure how my homemade tension springs are going to work. I'll definitely have to replace the hay dog springs. I'm almost making a banna bale,
