I AM TUNING UP HAYBINE I PICKED UP. I HAVE NO EXPERINCE WITH A HAYBINE BUT I HAVE ALWAYS USED A SICKLE FOR MY HAY WITH LITTLE PROBLEMS. NOW ARE THEY BASICLY THE SAME, KEEP GOOD SHARP TEETH AND GOOD GAURDS? AND THEY WILL CUT VERY WELL? AND NOT PLUG UP?

Also if you tell use when you post what brand it is and model number it helps us let you know what you need to know. There probably at least 100 differant ones out there and each work differant then the others in some way

They are the same and differant, the sickle set up works the same but then you also have rollers etc that need to be looked at and maintained. Chains that need checked and oiled etc

There are a lot more adjustments on a haybine (which is made by New Holland). Whether its one of these, or an equivalent machine from Deere, IHC, Gehl,... you really ought to get and study the manual for your machine, Then again, if the previous owners did the same thing as you intend to and did it right, all you have to do is leave your machine as is and go out and cut.
