Hello all, I just bought a little genuis two-bottom on rubber for my M. The guy I got it from put in on my trailer with a front-end loader and I removed it with a three-point boom pole on my dads ford 3000. So far so good, it is at my farm right now and I need it to plow up my big garden at home, which is five miles away. I know I could use the boom but then I have to take the 3000 to town too. This is my first trailer plow so forgive me, but will it pull ok in road gear behind the M or will the trail wheel make whip around. If so, can it be loaded onto a trailer with ramps with plows in the up position. Just wondered how you guys who have been using these for years do it. Thanks for any input!

I bought a two bottom little genius on steel last fall, was about 8 miles away, I just pulled it home with a BN, took an hour and a half though.

On the tail wheel assembly there should be a set screw that you tighten down to hold the tail wheel straight that is for transporting at higher speeds. I have pulled Case plows over 30 mph like that. I have an M and I know they have one fast road gear. If it were me I would use 5th gear at about half throttle and you should be ok. You can still make your turns with the wheel tightened until you get to the field. I hope this helps some.

I don't know whether transporting behind your M in road gear is a good idea, I've been afraid to try it myself. If you have access to a small trailer such as a car trailer, or something else that is not too high off the ground, I would go that route. As an experiment, walk out to the plow, grab hold of the hitch and pull, you will be surprised how easy it is to move that plow around, a simple hand crank winch would load it easily onto a trailer, and you could roll it off by hand.

I transport my 3 bottom little genuis to a lot of shows and parades and pull it on to my trailer with a winch and then pull it off with my tractor which I load on the trailer backward.
