I'm looking for a decent used discbine that's not junk. I have found 2 different ones at a couple dealers. The first is a Gehl 2330, 9 foot cut, with rolls. The other is a New Idea 5212, 12 foot cut, also with rolls and supposedly a new gear box. Does anyone know anything good or bad about either of these machines? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Kurt

Kurt; The units you asked about I think The New Idea might be same as Hesston. Will look in book. The Gehl unit I had never seen many of those period so really don't know who built those. I do have a JD 1460 disc mo/condition for sale thou that is very nice unit. It is just around 10ft cut. Also have a 8312 Case IH unit center pivot unit 12ft cut, this unit has complete new bar in it. Nice unit also. I have used both these units when I got them repaired and they are both real good mowing machines. I repaired both units for a local dealer who I do setup work for also. You can go to my website www.ricksales.com and you will find pictures of both unuits under used equipment. Good Luck
