Could someone help me with identifying John Deere 290 planter plate numbers. I am looking for these plates but am not sure how to identify them. Does someone have a 290 manual that lists the numbers?
Maybe you could copy and email to me. Thanks for any help you can give.

I've got a 290 manual at home, but no way to scan it. Those plates you need are "B" type plates that fit almost every plate planter Deere made. (Only the very first ones used a different kind)

I have hundreds of them, in all different sizes. (Some are for sale) contact me at [email protected] I won't be home for a few hours, but I'll try to get you a list of the ones I have.

For the plate #'s.....Look up LincolnAg's website. They list "lustran" or plastic plates they sell. There is a cross reference to the Deere cast iron plate #'s. It is most helpfull.

I have almost every corn plate available, as well as sveral soybean plates. LincolnAg will list corn, soybean, milo, sunflower, and "blank" plates, as well as accessories needed for all their product line. John
