The pickup on the old NH69 seemed to slip fairly easily this part year so I took a look at the clutch. The bolts are cranked in the whole way to the point that the springs are at coil bind. The friction plate of the clutch is only about 1/8" thick and looks the worse for wear. Anyone know if you can still get them? Also in the manual it says to set the clutch up just so it slips when over loaded. No real torque setting...Any help is appreciated.

There are two friction discs. One between the sprocket and hub, one between the hub and pressure plate. Part number 128651 @ about $35 per. Can't help on the thickness.
