Santa Came Early

It ended up with a JD 530 baler in really nice shape. Somehow she understood..... .me, and driving down the road, and rubbernecking and all.

Anyway, I looked at ebay and herein and see no operator"s manual. Anybody got any ideas as to where I might get one. Will try the JD dealer when they open.

I have heard they are a really good baler. I never have run one, but one nieghbor liked his so much he bought a second one. He has lots of land, tractors and help and can put up a pile of hay in one day with two 530's running at once.

Keep looking until you find a nice tractor with a good cab. A good tractor and baler makes putting up the hay a joy, not a chore. Enjoy!

For as long as I can remember the 530 was the standard of excellence. Every time there was a hayin conversation it came up at least once. Hay ads in the paper would mention that their rolls came from one if so.

Usually priced way to high to be practical for me. So when I saw the Hesston 5580 I bought that.....nothing else for sale. It was ok for several seasons, but purely a mechanical thing....why I chose an open station on the tractor.

I need to get my wife's camera and take a pic and post as it is truly a rare find and at what a price.

Now I'm looking for a 2420 er ah 44XX with cab to put in front of it since I have electric sensors now.
