they are used to process soybeans so they will be easier for hogs and cattle to digest. look under extruding/roasting soybeans for a better, more accurate description of the process. it will explain better than i can. i've just read it again this week but have slept since then.!=)

PAUL THANKS BEAN EXSTRUDERS A 1000 RPM 1 BUSHEL PER MIN.JUST REBILT CONES MACHINE WORKS GREAT LET A CUSTOMER USE IT. NOT SURE I WANT TO PART WITH IT YET.MITE BE FUN TO RUN IT AT THRASHERYS STIL DONT NO WHAT YEAR IM GESSING LATE 50S

They are rare, not many want them but those that do are willing to pay. Might take time to find a buyer is what I'm saying.

Don't know anything about them, saw maybe 2 sell on auctions over the years, thinking north of $500 for a working one, don't know difference on model & size & all that....
