jd 400 grinder mixer

I was wondering if my JD 2010 would handle this grinder mixer also would like opinions on this model if anyone has one. Thanks Bill

Be aware that the lengendary parts support of Deere does not apply to the grinder mixers. Many parts are not available new.

The JD 400 is a very good unit, we had one for about for about 10 years or so. It was used to grind between 5 to 10 loads every day, and I mean every day. We powered ours with a 3020 but sometimes in a pinch we would put the Farmall H on it. With the H it would take at least twice as long to grind a load because we didn't feed the corn to it nearly as fast. Your 2010 should do just fine.
