I converted my dishwasher into a snowthrower years ago. I told the missus that as soon as she got the dishes washed, that she could go outside and shovel the snow off the driveway. Since the driveway is 2 vehicles wide, it means the missus has to throw that snow quite a ways. She has indicated that she"d like a new automatic dishwasher for Christmas this year. I may have to buy her a new snowblower too, as she is getting older, and I don"t want her to feel overworked. So far, (she doesn"t know it yet) I"ve gotten her 2 packs of vacuum bags which will be wrapped separately, a new Iron, batteries for the smoke detectors, a new toilet set for each bathroom complete with brush and plunger, a fresh mop head, and a brand new pair of rubber gloves. She has been hinting around for a new riding mower, but the push mower I got her 2 years ago still runs fine, although I"ve noticed recently that she stops more frequently go get a drink of water. I guess mowing 2 1/2 acres would make one thirsty. A new riding mower would serve a greater purpose than simply cutting grass, as she could probably use it to take the trash out to the end of the drive instead of having to carry it by hand. I"m almost afraid to mention to her that I"d like a new set of golf clubs this year, as I fear that she may decide to use one of the clubs before I get a chance to, but I do need something to occupy my time since I don"t have too much to do around the house and yard.

I didn't read this thread at first, actually thought it sounded a bit ridiculous. Then I got thinking about one day I was driving by the farm of a known oddball. Here he was with what looked like a walk behind snowblower, except the discharge was putting out a stream of plain water.

Then I got thinking a dish washer made into a snow thrower? maybe I missed something in life. I did slow down a bit to see if the guy I mentioned had a propane burner or some such device on his contraption.

As for you, you may find the women in your life will put a jincx or hex on you. They might even do worse than that. Only time will tell.

Kelly: Getting old, slipping, surprise you what you can get away with now. Heard a better one than that about the dishwasher, from a guy repairing one. Just his thoughts on keeping the new and the old in good repair.

No need to complain about the wife - does about as much good as cussin' the mule.

At least the mule will only flick an ear at you when you're done - wives tend to start braying back at ya'

(The home computer lost the hard drive so she won't see this for a while - hopefully never!)

Grandpa wrapped up a new chainsaw for granny's Christmas one year. After granny said "well shit"when she opened it up, he handed her the diamond ring that was the real gift. Gramps is dead now and granny still wears the ring,the funny thing is that old chainsaw still runs and she calls it her chainsaw.

Our primary snow removal equipment is a JD 310A backhoe. Even after 25 years, I still have presence of mind to handle snow removal myself.

Article in this week's paper said the (current) average age for first marriages in the US was 25/27 for women/men. Maybe there's hope for you yet.

Sounds a bit like " Why does the bride wear white..... ..... ...so the dishwasher matches the fridge and the stove. I told this one to the wife and I didn't see her for the rest of that day or the next either. By the third day I could see a little of her out of one eye as the swelling went down. After listening to the woes of other men I was ready when she asked " does this outfit make me look fat"? When she looked up when she didn't hear an answer.I was already long gone across three isles of the store and was still gaining speed.

HHHmmmmm..... I like these answers. You fellas seem like the type that say "hey honey when your done changing the oil in my car then go split some hardwood logs" or say what I said 3 days ago while my wife was explaining what she wanted from Victoria's secret catalog, after she was done talking I said "I think I will put this catalog in my Hope chest" wife says, yeah youll be hopeing buddy. When we first got married we made a agrement( its worked for 15 years) I would stay out of the kitchen and the laundry room and she stays out of the garage.She even gave up collect sode can in the garage when she went to clean them before she returned them and found chew in them. I told her she forgot about the agreement

Come to think of it I did give the wife a .22 for Christams on year. I've never considered commiting adultry by the way. I caught an earful for washing the 70 Diesel pistons in the dishwasher one afternoon while she was away. I wasn't counting on the thin film of oily soot all over the white inside of the dishwasher. Even an empty run with extra soap and the hottest wash didn't remove all of the soot.

its rather easy I just take her dishtowel away ang give a snow shovel, I am also working on a cultivator for the same unit. shes getting older and harder to to get stared but once I get her fired up and hot get outa her way!! LOL
