I have found the remains of two mm balers a K2 & a K3 they would both be good only for parts, but I was wondering if they are rare? Also what years were they made?

They didn't live very long when it was discovered that they cut off short pieces of baling wire and left them in the bale. Apparently MM couldn't fix that problem so they got out of the baler business real fast.

You are correct about the little chunks of wire left in the bales. Bad design, good idea to discontinue that series.
But Minneapolis Moline didn't get out of the baler business, only the wire tie baler business.

I have a 1957 twine tie model called the 760 Balemaster.
This is the model that replaced the wire tie.

They offered several different models of balers until they were bought out.
The last balers they had were MM in name only as they were made by another company.
