Grain Binders had to be trucked to transport. They would go through a 10 ft. gate when trucked.

I have a Minnesota brochure. It has their binders in it. If you want. I will scan it and e-mail it to you.

Yes if you don't mind. I bought one and have the towing bar for use in the field but I dont know if you use the same bar to tow down the road. I can not figure out how it would go if you used it to pull the other way. Thanks Barton

Barton. go to www.ricksales.com and look under the antique catergory and you will find picture of grain binder in transport position. The same hitch that pulls field position goes under pickup end and pulls from that end when you put the tongue all the way under it to pull from the other end of machine. Hope this helps some.

we had a Minn. grain binder years ago [many years] when i was younger. what I remember is that the tougne or pole or whatever, it went under the platform near the platform wheel and slipped into a spot at inside of platforn edge where the up roller canvas goes and pinned there and pulled it the lenght way. Hope i got you more confused now. Alvin
