Looking for info on McCormick Deering square wire tie baler. Tractor pulled, separate pony engine. One person stood on top to regulate feed and kick the blocks in a the right time. "picnic table" benches on either side of the bale chute for wire tying the bales. Had to pick up the blocks and hand them back to the guy on top.
Thanks for any info.

Just for the record I found it.
McCormick-Deering Type "M" Pick-Up Baler.
Around 1940.
I tracked down an archivist at Case New Holland, and he was very helpful. He faxed me the cover page for the picture, and reprints are available for about $20.

There was actually two, the type "M" and the #15. Both built early "40's with the #15 the cheaper baler. The M had a cross convayer with a gate that both stopped when the block was dropped. The #15 a person stood up on top and had to move the hay by hand into the bale chamber from the pick-up.
