Ben off site for a couple of days taking care of the wife (recapped eyeballs), but did sneak away long enough to p/u the latest addition.I want to thank everyone for your responses. Will take comments under advisement. The may pop rear tire didn't. I pulled the cutter bar for closer inspection and the serrations were still good. Seems they were clogged with sand and I thought they were rusted off. Had to laugh as the guy DID have a power stroke!!! Matter of fact had 2. I told him what I said about our phone conversation and he just laughed. He said that he'd have bought the thing for the $800 initial offering I made him. I thought I had to go thru the procurement process without getting to haggle, but he said he was really wanting $1795 for it but let me have it for $1500 as it was off season. So I guess it was fun afterall. On the epoxy for the sheet metal cracks, I hear you . I was going to mig them and then weld a plate over them and reinstall the mounting screw. Roller rubber is excellent and it has new drive belts. One hyd hose will need replacement and the tongue cylinder will probably need a kit. Not too bad a deal. Trip home was about 35 miles and thankfully uneventful.....If you can call hauling A$$ down the road at a whopping 25 mph, looking in your rear view mirror to see the teeth (literally) of a 500HP KW bellering down on you..... ..... ..... .....gees I hope he sees my "Slow moving Vehicle" triangle.
