Alas, it may not be as cool a deal as it looks. With interest rates so low, they can come out the same with "no interest" by simply raising the price of the item a little bit- so your payment of $XXX per month, no interest, turns out to be the same as it would have been at their original (lower) price, with (minimal) interest. There is no free lunch. My wife got very excited when she was told she could get a diesel Dodge for only $40,000, at no interest, on a 5 year contract. She couldn't believe her good fortune, and was sure this deal was almost free. When I told her it would still be $666.67 per month, her enthusiasm cooled. That being said, you need to look at the monthly payments and whether they are affordable, without even thinking about interest. If they want $XXX per month for 5 years, no interest, the proper analysis is, is that payment "doable", and will the machine return enough income to be economically feasible? If so, go for it. Even thought its not free, "no interest" is still cheaper than "some interest."
