Anyone have plans for building a wood throw wagon? I've seen them with doors on either the front, the sides or the rear, is any one of those better than the others?

thanks, andrew

A bale wagon filled by a baler with a thrower or ejector is easier to unload from the front, since you are unloading them in reverse order. If you have a drop section in the front, it is easiest to unload, but you carry all the bales back to the front to unload them, and you should have an elevator that drops across the wagon hitch. Most people have a door on either side, just forward of the middle, and it is easy to unload into a conveyor from that position. All depends how far you want to carry them.

I have found this place quite helpfull when tryin to design something up. Looking under "Crops" #6173 looks pretty close to a kicker wagon. If the number is highlighted blue it is a scan of the actual plans.
