Gravity Box Size Question

What's the smallest size of gravity box that has been commonly produced? I am wondering if there were many made that were about 150 bushels or less. Thanks for the help.

We bought two new kill bros. in the mid 1960's one was 150bu,. and one was 100bu. that size use to be real common in the 1960's as you could use them on light duty gears. we used one on a baved bradley and one on an old new Ideal, don't know what the weight rating was but not much as they used car tires on them. we would use the same gears for our hay beds, just slid hopper off and slide flat bed on. they sure beat shovling corn off the flat beds. some people had flat beds that had hydraulic dumps that worked Ok if you could afford them.

J&M was a popular size in the 125 -150 bushel range.

The old Kilbros boxes were about 100 -125 bushels. They are common as dirt in Michigan. Can buy one for $200.00 on a running gear. Most people around hear use trucks or $250 bushel or up boxes.

Dad had some Little Giant gravity beds that were built in the early sixties that held about 75 bu. of ear corn, or 100 bu. of shelled w/ some short extensions. Jim.

200 bu with the extensions is a common small size here. Without the extensions, you would probably be around 150bu.

I have 3 Parker boxes rated at 210 bu. Counting the extensions.

I"ve got an old galvanized one here that my grandfather bought new, a Little Giant maybe? Without extensions, it"s 100 bu. Also have an EMCO that is about 125 bu. without extensions.
