I have a chance to pick up a complete snow plow set up for a 8n will it fit on my 640. Would 475 be a good price and is there any thing I should lookout for on it, I am not sure what make it is. I just want to find out some fax before I call about it.
Thanks for the input Frank

The plows for the N's were cable lift and attached to the rear axle for a push point and hung from front axle brackets.
The 640 is a longer tractor so you would have to modify the plow frame to fit.
The Deerborn plow that was made for the 640 attached to the holes in the bottom of the transmission and to the bottom of the engine in the front. This allowed this plow to raise much higher.
I hope this helps you.

Do you know what type of modifaction would need to be made. I am going to look at it this weekend to find out more. The frame and all the parts are with it so I am hoping that it could be done without to much effort.
Thanks for the information Frank
