Hydraulic valves

I have a JD #35 loader that originally had a trip bucket. I converted it to hydraulic bucket but apparently got a hydraulic valve without the "internal load check" When I push the handle down to raise the tip of the bucket will drop a little before hydraulic pressure builds up. Is there a way to add the internal load check or can I put one in line?

I converted my 45 loader to hydrulic dump and I have the same drop problem. However after using it for a while I no longer pay any attention to it.

A hydraulic shop should have an inline load check valve. Try Baum Hydraulics at Omaha. I don't remember their url.
