I have a greason hydraulic valve on my loader. It doesn't have the internal load check so when I go to raise it it drops a little first. Can I instal a load check in the line? Where would I find one?

Can I install a load check in the line? No, a load check has to be ahead of each spool, not behind the spool in the output line. Oil will not be able to return when you want to switch directions (lower) the loader. If you place it in the inlet line to the valve you will still have all the spools in parallel and the oil from the boom cylinders can still back flow to the bucket circuit for example. If it is a single spool valve, the inlet line location would not cause a problem and it would act as a load check.
