I posted this on the JD board also. Having trouble with the head not snaping the ear off the stock. It's pulling the ear off and part of the stock is staying on the ear. Are the snaping rolls out of adj., or wore out?

Should be stripper plates in there with the rolls. They"re probably out of adjustment or worn out. If you don"t have a manual for this picker, get one. Not a machine you should be using without the manual to tell you certain things about it.

I'll look to see if the striper plates are adjustable. I have a manul for the picker, I'll have to get one for the head. Thanks for your help.
