Coil Shanks or Danish Tines?

I"m in the process of putting together a toolbar and field cultivator for working previously-broken ground (I"m not plowing sod) in the hopes that it will be quicker and less work than disking and then trying to level the field (my disk has 22" blades). I"ll be using it primarily on wildlife food plots ranging up to 3 acres in size. My big question is whether I"m better off with coil shanks or heavy-duty Danish tines. The coil shanks will probably work deeper, but are typically spaced further apart, so won"t leave as smooth a surface. I know the answer depends a lot on how deep I want to go, and whether I"m talking primary or secondary tillage. I"m basically intersted in light primary (4"-6") tillage that will leave a relatively smooth surface. Thanks for your thoughts!

IHC 45 Vibrashank (coil) field cultivators 12-18' in size sell for under $250 around here, 80% have a harrow bar behind them to make a level seedbed. That's how I would go.
