I just picked up a 60" King Kutter tiller over the weekend. No modifications were necessary only filling with oil and grease before use. Having left the guides where they were from the factory at a conservative 2" I tried it out last night. After taking several passes in differing soil conditions from virgin pasture to my well tilled garden I would tend to think this unit will meet all of my needs. It chewed through heavy grass, gopher mounts, smallish tree roots ( 1 1/2 " ) and even a wooden stake that I neglected to romve from the garden. All in all, so far so good.

I have an 80" Howard Rotovator, and a 72" King Kutter tiller. Depending on what I'm doing, I use both quite a bit. The King Kutter has held up to some real torture. I use it in places that I don't want to use the MUCH MORE expensive Howard tiller. I've hit rocks, tree roots, and even wrapped a 20 piece of 1/2" re-bar around it, and it just keeps on going. I'm not the ultimate King Kutter fan, but their tiller is well worth the $$$$$. John
