Before I sell it, I was hoping someone here is familar with the different model #s of these rakes. It has been welded on so much around the frame, that I don't see a Mfg. tag anywhere. All I can make out is the iH decal in a couple of places. It can be driven backwards with out picking it up. The wheels will turn all the way around unlike my MF rakes. I don't know if that makes it a certain model or not? I'm not familar with the 3-point hitch iH rakes. It has a chain drive off the pto shaft to a sprocket/sheave assembly then a belt to the rake drum. Thanks in advance; Ga, Plowboy

Mr. Plowboy, After looking thru my parts books, I think I have narrowed it down to two possibe rakes. A model #11 was built from 1957 to 1960,but this was built only as a Fast-Hitch rake. A model #12 was built 1960 to 1963 and was avalable both with Fast-Hitch and 3-point. The model #9 was built 1965 to 1973 and only as a 3-point. The #11 and #12 had the rake teeth mounted in pairs with the later built#9 had three teeth together between the strippers. The model #12 had a squared off front frame, but the #11 and #9 had rounded frame rails.
