front snow plow mount on tractor

I recently saw a snow plow mount which attached under the bottom of a tractor and held a standard Myers snow plow on the front of the tractor. Owner said he bought it new from a place that is now out of business. It was old and rusty and no name on it anymore. I really don't need a front end loader, but could sure use the snow plow. Any body able to direct me to a current maker? (The three point slider blades are only good up to about 6 or 8 inches of snow, in recent years, there's been four or five storms over that and my driveway is a third of a mile long.)

Check with the local snow plow dealers for larger truck-mounted plows. I've seen truck mounted underframe hitches mounted on tractors to take advantage of the strength of the rear axle. A light-to-medium duty underframe truck hitch will have adequate strength and protect your tractor from breaking in half. Might ever find a used one at dealer, city, county or state shop.

On the Oliver forum in one of the old posts there is a picture of the snow plow mount that Shep Va built for his oliver. Says it works good.
