I found a Dearborn International one row corn picker mod 16-4. Does anyone have information on this equipment such as when it was made, where I might find parts and manuals etc. It is sitting in a timber with some trees grown up through the frame but looks to be in fair shape. Part of the driveshaft is missing but everything else is there.

Probably Dearborn Implement, distributed implements for Ford Tractor Division from 1947 to mid-50s when Ford absorbed Dearborn fully into tractor division. The 16-4 picker was available during this time. Manuals might be found at the Ford N board, as they have a lot of reprints of Dearborn literature. For parts you are going to need to find a donor machine. I wouldn"t want to pick corn with it, as it can"t handle modern varieties with their heavier yields and resulting high trash load.
