My brother has a new holland TC33D and wants to buy a front end loader. The New Holland loader cost around $4,000.00. An aftermarket one could cost less. He mentioned Rhino as one other brand. I"d appreciate any comments or suggestions on buying a front end loader. I use the tractor mostly for cutting fields and grading the driveway. Thanks in advance for your help. dave

Go with the NH loader. There is a BIG difference between "designed for" and "will fit". The cylinders will be sized for the flow and pressure of his tractor, so it will operate with good speed and lift. Also the joystick control fits right on the RH fender and isn"t in the way of anything.

There has been a _great_ deal of discussion on this over at www. t r a c t o r b y n e t . c o m .

The NH section, about 6 months ago. They have a deep archive, you should be able to pull up a lot of info. One guy had real problems with one mis-sized loader - lots of info in that thread. Sorry for the spaces, but the auto-censor doesn"t let some web sites through...

I have a TC33D with a New Holland loader.
It is so easy to take off and put on I
would take that into account when buying.

Actually I have a 1720 with a loader, close to the same machine. In a year & 1/2, I"ve never taken the loader off... ;)

What can also make a big difference is if you have a belly mower or a backhoe - sometimes the mounts for one item get in the way for the other item.
