My wife has had an inspiration, so now I have a new project. The county fair had old equipment displayed this year for the first time. My task is to paint and redecal her father's old Farmall A and to paint up one or both of our two David Bradley sickle bar mowers. We used the newer mowing machine three seasons ago, but the other one has sit under a big fir for the last 45 years at least (bee hive in gearbox, 2-3 year old playing on it [me], much crying and screaming, mower drug to final resting place under tree). Does anyone know what color/colors the David Bradley mowing machines came in and if there is a source for any decaling they may have had? They are both steel wheeled, ground driven with a driver/operator/ballast seat on them. Any info would be appreciated.

All of the David Bradley equipment that we got after WWII (feed grinder, manure spreader, side delivery rake, plow, wagon) was painted red (not as dark as IH)with off-color light green wheels (even lighter than Forest Service green). Probably only way to get decals is to find a manual with description/picture and have decals custom made.
