Kinda confused, is the 310 a disk plow, or just a disk?

It all just depends on your weather, sun, clouds, amount of rain, humidity, soil type, wind, previous crop, amount of trash (old vegitation) on the soil surface, etc. Disking when the ground is wet makes a plugged up disk & a brick-hard ground - much worse & bad in clay, pure sand won't matter much. Otherwise, practice & find out what works.

But, are you plowing with a plow, a chisel plow, a field cultivator, or a disc plow? I'm really confused at what you are trying to do.

Generally you want the ground level & weeds dead, no need to chisel plow, bottom plow, and disk 3 times as it sounds like you are doing?
