About how much do these units cost, if they are in reasonably good shape? We are in NE Ohio.

And, when properly adjusted, how far does it throw the bales?

Thanks in advance.

Cost is best determined between buyer and seller. We can't see it, don't know how bad you want it, or if he needs to sell it. Properly adjusted, the thrower should toss a 40lb bale over the back of a 16 foot long wagon with the back of the rack about 9 feet high. Not that you may want to do that.

Actually it's the opposite - we have one, so we'd be the seller. We were wondering if it's worth it to remove everything pertaining to the thrower, and take it to the auction on Labor Day.

Point well taken on the distance thing...again, we were wondering what a decent, complete thrower would do.

I wouldn't do it in reply to brent, 08-28-2004 06:05:22
There may be only one guy there who wants it, or worse, one guy who wants it for parts if he can get it for $25. I would advertise it, perhaps here in the classified section. Find a buyer and set a price before removal if you can. Only fits a few model balers without modification or adaptation. Production of the 50 ended in 1966.
