I talked to my local dealer today about getting a new backbone bar for my sickle mower, he said the only ones he could find were some at a dealer in Wisconsin. He said the price would be about $400 if he had them, not sure about other dealer. I believe he said the part # was MF1007. I'm hoping to find another bar to replace mine. If anyone can help, let me know. Thanks

I got one for my 501 Ford from Central Tractor a couple of years ago and it was under $200 with shipping. I have turned the place upside down adn can't find my catalog. Should be on the web though. You might try Shoup also I order alot of stuff from them and they are fast and reasonable (www.shoupparts.com) Good luck.
