My knotter keeps cutting the line on one side rather than holding to make a bale. The other side just keeps knotting it self and is not working worth a darn. Does any one have any pics, or good desc to get it working right. It was $100 and works great except for the way the knoteer is giving me haertache right now.

Knotters are funny things. You really should get the manual and go through all the checks and services mentioned. I paid $150 for my NH 66 and once I did all the services and replaced a few minor worn parts, it works great.

Call New Holland publications department for a manual reprint, I think it was about $8. 1-800-635-4913.

We need to know which side (it makes a difference) - the end in the twine disc or the end thru the needle?

Well, the twine nearest the side of the pick up ties the knot ok. The twine on that side apears to be being cut by the ( at least i beleive) is the twine disc. The other side i can not get to knot and cut and breaks the twijne at the needle when the needle go back down to the home position
