The potato digger has cups for the grease. A few pictures of potato diggers can be found in Implement Photos.

I just bought a potato digger that is about that old. Does yours have grease cups at all the moving parts? I,m still trying to figure out what brand this digger is, but I havent found any pictures that look like it.

Any grease will be fine as long as you add more before it all runs out.
