HS Manure Spreaders any good?

Hi All,
I'm considering buying an H&S 175 bushel manure spreader for our horse farm. Does anyone have an opinion about the quality of their equipment? Any advice would be greatly appreciated. We are located out in Washington state in case you have recommendations for other brands that I should consider.

I would look at Case-IH we used them to spread yard waste on a farm I worked at. We would run heavy loads of green grass piled high with 3ft side boards. and we might run 350-400 loads a week thru them ,more than any normal farm would . they held and never failed to operate

Yeah i would stand behind the spreader either. They say its pretty shity. Anyways i would go with a gehl. Nice machines and i have no complaints. They have that nice no stick bottom. Cleans out very nicely.

The new Gehl box spreaders are made by New Holland. I have a low opinion of New Holland spreaders, despite what others may say about them.

Thanks for your advice. Now I'm not really sure what to get. It sounds like the Gehl spreaders used to be good but perhaps aren't good anymore. It also sounds like I should avoid the H&S spreader that I originally posted about. Anyone else out there who can make a suggestion? A kubota dealer tried to sell me a spreader made by a company called Pequea, but I was hesitant because I had never heard of the brand and the spreader I was looking at was the largest one they make which I took to mean that it might not be very sturdy.

I sure would appreciate any other advice people can offer. The criteria I need are; 1)PTO driven 2)sized at around 175-200 bushels 3)it can't have too high a loading height since it would be nice to be able to muck stalls directly into the spreader
