Clear 20 acres of New England rocky corn field? I am think about getting one ,but would like some in put from any one that has used one or one of the same type to clean up rocks in the field, what you liked / dislike about them and how good a job it did ..... ,Yes I know about stone boats and/or a gang of kids pick'n rocks , but would like to see the project done in my life time or a good way along ... Thanks all Bill g.

A Harley rake will only remove rocks in the top 2" or so of soil. It will smooth everything out and make a nice looking field, but I don't think it will do what you are looking for. We used to try them for clearing rocks from newly constructed ball fields, but gave up. If you need more than visible surface rocks removed, it won't work.

I am not familar with the Harley rock rake it selfm but rock rakes usually work with a rock picker for the best results.
