14T Baler adjustment

I need the measurement for adjusting the older style trip mechanism on the 14T. ( The type with adjustable star wheel for bale length.) The bracket that holds the lever to the trip dog is in a slot. How far should this clear the arm from the star wheel? If the bracket is all the way back the baler trips all the time. If the bracket is all the way forward it trips every 3rd bale or so. There must be a spec but it isn't in the newer 14T book which John Deere sells as the trip mechanism changed.

I do not know the spec. I have tinkered with those star wheels before though and found them a little touchy. I bet someone has the newer style for little or nothing.
